Cover for How to be Happy (No Fairy Dust or Moonbeams Required)

I wrote this book a few years back. I had been through some bad times and a lot of personal growth; I was excited beyond words to share what I learned with the world. It seems like most people struggle with the same things, and I was so grateful to have found some answers! I couldn’t wait to pass them on.

For the cover, I wanted an image to capture the true happiness that’s possible through the things I learned. This image of the Bliss Dancer by Perfecto Insecto on Flickr (licensed under Creative Commons when I used it) perfectly captured what I wanted to express, with the sun shining through her heart like she was on fire with passion.

I originally released this book as a giveaway on my blog to build my email list. Later, I released it on Amazon in Kindle format and paperback using print on demand through CreateSpace.

I’ve learned a lot since then, about life, writing, and design. I’d love to do a new edition at some point.
